Pottery Classes For All Ages

Pottery Studio, 108 Lowell Rd., Westford

Students will learn useful art by means of the potter's wheel and will also learn to sculpt, hand build and add nature to their beautiful designs. The study of pottery can help provide an insight to past cultures as well as express the love of art and painting. Glazing and firing techniques will be applied when creating your pottery. All supplies and firings are included in cost. This class is for the beginner or advanced student. Parents are welcome to join with child. Parents are welcome to join with child. Teens are welcome in the evening adult session. Adult pottery class is appropriate for teachers looking for PDP’s. Please call Roudenbush office to set up private lesson, birthday parties, or scout badge packages.

Pottery Classes for all ages at Littleton Recreation and Comm-unity Education. Pottery classes are held in the Art Room at Littleton High School.

 

Intro to Clay Grades 1-4. Students learn various hand building techniques such as coil, pinch and slab methods. All finished pieces are glazed and fired. 6 Weds., Jan. 9th through Feb. 13th from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. $68 (includes all materials).


Intro to Clay Grades 5-8. Learn hand building techniques and basic throwing skills. Work on projects on and off the wheel. Instruction is individualized. 6 Weds., Jan. 9th through Feb. 13th from 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. $110 (includes all materials).


Pottery for Teens. Learn hand building techniques, basic throwing skills, or take your current skills to the next level. Work on projects on and off the wheel. 6 Weds., Jan. 9th through Feb. 13th from 6:30 to 8 p.m. $110 (includes all materials).

Pottery for Adults

Learn hand building techniques and basic wheel-throwing skills in this fun, stress-relieving class. Students will create functional and sculptural pottery with individual attention for both the beginner and experienced student. 6 Tues., Jan. 8th through Feb. 12th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. $165 (includes all materials).
