East Boston Camps

East Boston Camps.

During the months of July and August limited access available due to camps in session.

During other times of year, road to the camp is closed and parking is only allowed at the camp entrance.

Hiking, Walking, Ice Skating, Cross country skiing

Grassy Pond

Located in Conservation land so has no sanctioned fishing or swimming.

In the winter, Grassy Pond can be used for skating and cross country skiing.

In the summer a 1/2 mile trail around the pond is great for short hikes, walking and jogging.

Kennedy Pond

Located in Conservation land so has no sanctioned fishing or swimming.

It is sunny and open, with a playground next to it. There are also pedal boats to rent for $5.

Walden Pond

space and be permitted to enter. There are also scenic trails to walk around the lake in the woods.
