Theater : Summer School for the Performing Arts (SSPA)
The SSPA is a 3 week theater summer camp in Westford run by Westford Academy Theater Director Mike Towers. For the first session, they will be presenting Seussical the Musical and Brighton Beach Memoirs. Plays will be performed on July 11 and 12, at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Westford Academy. Children under 15 is FREE! The second session for the camp will run from July 14 - August 1. For more information on Summer School for the Performing Arts.

Apple Blossom Parade - Queen
Westford's annual Apple Blossom Parade was held on May 17th. This year’s Queen was T.C. Vu with runners up Lindsay D’angelo, Natalie Sullivan and Chelsea Duggan. >>Watch the video.

Apple Blossom Parade - Float
The best float was awarded the "Roudenbowl" to the Robinson and Crisafulli school float. Vice Principal of the Robinson and Crisafulli schools, Sharon Kennelly, said the float centered on the Robifulli trail. The leaves on the trees on the float were made out of hand prints of the kids from the Crisafulli school and the path was made out of the footprints of kids from the Robinson school. The Robifulli Trail was created by two local Boy Scout Troops. Justin Gray, an Eagle Scout, headed the construction of the trail connecting the two schools. Michael Blanchette, another Eagle Scout, constructed the Outdoor Classroom. >> Watch the video.

Westford Public School Town wide Inventors' and Scientists' Fair
Hundreds of kids piled into the Westford Academy gym to showcase their inventions and experiments on May 16. Carol Shestok, K-5 Science Coordinator and William Bobrowsky, 6-12 Science Coordinator were in charge or organizing this wonderful event. A Big Thank you to both Carol and William! James Lynch, inventor at iRobot was the guest speaker. >> Watch the video.

Willy Wonka Jr performed by Stony Brook School Students
Willy Wonka Jr was presented by the Blanchard-Stony Brook Productions in March 2008. The play is based on Roald Dahl's Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, this adaptation is a timeless story of the world-famous Willy Wonka and his quest to find an heir for his candy factory. >> Watch the video.
